Here are some photos of my Buff Orpington and Speckled Sussex chicks who hatched on April 14, 2009. This was my first experience incubating eggs in an incubator. I ordered hatching eggs on e-Bay from Gabbard Farms in Arkansas. It was amazing that the eggs made it in one piece to my post office and the pictures show the results. They are now six weeks old and they live in the outdoor chicken house. I am an egg lover, but we do not eat our chickens—they are family pets. We also have ducks and geese.
